Ikzelf ben nu in het eerste boek bezig en vind het best wel leuk. Het leest vlot, is goed geschreven en het verhaal is, tot nu toe, wel origineel. Ik ben dan ook heel benieuwd of de schrijfsters dit hebben kunnen volhouden in de 5(?) volgende delen ^^ Het eerste boek is alleszins een aanrader.

Ik heb hem vandaag uitgelezen en ik vind het echt schitterend. In vergelijking met het begin, waar ik toch even moeite mee had, ben ik door de laatste helft van het boek echt gevlogen. Er zit ook een Wicca-elementje in, wat ik, in dit geval toch, wel leuk vind omdat het helemaal niet overdreven wordt voorgesteld maar er echt een serieuze kern van waarheid inzit. Oke, er zitten een aantal dingetjes in die in het echte leven niet zouden kunnen (zelfs niet bij een heks XD), maar kijk... het is een boek over vampyres, en het is een boek, een beetje spectaculariteit mag wel (en het is gewoon echt functioneel in het verhaal). Ik heb alleszins meteen het tweede boek uit de reeks besteld want ben echt benieuwd naar het vervolg.
